Who is our "Marvel-Us"
Character of the week?
Every week we are aiming to please the wishes of our viewers, all fans of Marvel are welcome and encouraged to post content and message “Marvel-Us” with their input on who deserves the temporary moment under the microscope! After an interval of deliberation, our staff will select the winner of the week
"An award by the fans, for the fiction!"
Hints for this week's winner?
- Genius-Level Intellect
- Supersonic flight at Mach-3
- Highly proficient scientist, engineer, and business person
If you didn't know,......Now you know Tony Stark.
What makes Ironman so powerful and worthy of this title?
The man behind the mask, Tony Stark, is a billionaire playboy,
industrialist, and ingenious engineer.
All of these things are benefits, but when Tony is captured in the
middle-east where his captors want him to create a weapon of mass destruction,
his true wit is put to the test. Tony
originally designed the Mach-1 suit in order for him to escape the compound
where he was being held prisoner. It was
this eye-opening experience that caused Tony Stark to realize the morality of
society, and led him to understanding that from a combination of his
past/present, he has the power and potential to actually make a
difference. Thus Ironman finds his
origin! A suit for everyday of the week!
Although everyone loves the billionaire playboy, the real
power of Ironman comes from the power of his suit. Through the access of Stark industries, Tony
is able to update his “Ironman suit,” with weapons and other technological
devices. My personal favorite is the
“MK-7.” This highly-advanced prosthesis
has the capability of immediate wire-less assembly providing that the user has
the appropriate bracelets around his wrists for the rest of the suit to locate using Stark
technology. This particularly came in
well for when we saw Ironman fall from the window at Stark-Tower, if not for
the MK-7 Ironman would have been an iron-omelet. Which is your favorite suit?

Tony Stark is famous for his rhetoric, but what are some of his most popular lines/quotes
- · “Please, no gang signs.”
- · “Give me a scotch. I’m starving.”
- · “I’ve successfully privatized world-peace.”
- · “It’s not a weapon. It’s more of a highly advanced prosthesis.”
- · “Mr. Stark displays textbook narcissism …Agreed.”
But for more in-depth quotes from this character check out the following link from IMBD, these are the quotes that are funny but are set up over time through conversation where we see the narcissism and youthful Stark show his sense of humor even in the most troubling times.

One thing that is so crucial to Tony Stark
is his personality, at all times throughout the comics and in the movies, he
always has something to say. Even when
facing death, Ironman will have one last word to put in. It’s always nice to take a look at the winner
of the “Marvel-US” weekly award and analyze how we can better ourselves by
looking at these fictional characters.
There are a couple key things that audiences must remember when thinking
of Ironman. The first key is to remember
that smart kids or those who are considered “nerdy,” can strive to be
billionaire playboy philanthropists. But
also even those who have everything, can still have nothing at the same
time. The final thing to take away from
this fictional character is that those with resources and ability to help
others, should take it upon themselves to do what they can to personally
contribute to a better world.

“Stay Marvel-Us!”

This is a wonderful blog! I'm a huge Marvel fan, and if I can make a vote, I think that Captain America should be this weeks Marvel-Us winner. He is a wonderful character, who show's people that being strong isn't just having big muscles, it's having a strong and caring heart as well. He puts others before himself and is a wonderful influence on people. Ironman is a great character as well, but I feel as though he's a little to arrogant and self-centered. Don't get me wrong, he's awesome on so many levels. But he could be a little more caring towards others.
ReplyDeleteNot being a huge Marvel fan or comic book reader, I do enjoy very much watching movies based upon superheroes. The whole good vs. bad keeps my eyes open for any plot twist that a producer could throw in to a movie. Besides that your blog is interesting from your page layout, context and getting your viewers involved. Reading more of your blogs could very well turn me into a superhero fan.
